These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.acephonics.com and the Ace Interactive Practice learning platform (together, the "Services"), operated by Ace Learning, Commercial Registration No. 300604, Tax/VAT Registration No. 769-512-232, located at 4 Apartment 5, B2, Seventh Floor, Emarat El-Obour, Salah Salem, beside El-Haras El-Gomhoury, Egypt ("Ace Learning," "we," "us"). By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent, guardian, or academy enrolling a student who is a minor, you agree to these Terms on that student’s behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so.
Ace Learning offers physical English-learning books for purchase and delivery within Egypt, and digital subscription access to online lessons and AI-assisted practice quizzes ("Ace Interactive Practice"). Course and quiz content is provided for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.
You (or, for a minor student, the enrolling parent, guardian, or academy) are responsible for keeping account login details confidential and for all activity under the account. Notify us immediately at info@acephonics.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
One child per account. Each family account is for one child, because it saves that child's progress, scores, and reports. Brothers and sisters each need their own account. Accounts may not be shared outside your household.
Up to 2 devices at a time. An account can be signed in on up to 2 devices at the same time (for example, a tablet and a phone). Signing in on a third device signs out the device that was used least recently.
Prices are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Upon placing an order, we will send you a written order confirmation by email or another electronic method containing the terms of your order, consistent with Article 38 of the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Cash on delivery (COD) is available for eligible physical-book orders. We may cancel or refuse an order — for example due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud — in which case any payment already made will be refunded. Card payments, where offered, are processed by licensed, PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
When a family buys a level, it is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and it does not renew. You can use that level for as long as Ace Phonics offers the program ("lifetime access"). If we ever stop offering a program, we will tell you by email or SMS at least 90 days before access ends. Teacher and school plans follow the terms and period stated in their order.
Access is personal to the child on the account and may not be shared, resold, or used by anyone else.
Physical book orders are shipped within Egypt in accordance with our Shipping Policy. Returns, withdrawals, and refunds for both physical books and digital subscriptions are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Both policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
All course materials, quizzes, explanations, software, and content made available through the Services are owned by or licensed to Ace Learning and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may use them only for personal learning purposes and may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share them without our prior written consent.
You agree not to: use the Services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data; interfere with or disrupt the Services; or misuse the platform to harass others or share inappropriate content, particularly given that many users are children.
The Services are provided "as is." While we take reasonable care to provide accurate, helpful learning content, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular learning outcome will be achieved.
To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, Ace Learning's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order or subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Egyptian law, including under the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
These Terms, and any dispute arising from or relating to the Services, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. You and Ace Learning submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts. Consumers may also raise complaints with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency in accordance with Law No. 181 of 2018, without prejudice to any other remedy.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be available on the Website with its effective date. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
